About Us

The Family Life Center of Auglaize County is a pro-life ministry to women and men regarding pregnancy decisions. We provide factual information about parenting and adoption. We provide information about abortion procedures and risks. However, we never recommend or refer for abortions. We also lend support to parents and families affected by unplanned pregnancies. We do not recommend or refer for abortions.

Our Mission
The mission of the Family Life Center of Auglaize County is to be a Christ centered care center that provides consultations, guidance, education and referral to all women, men, teens, and parents who experience unplanned or crisis pregnancies.

Our Vision
The Family Life Center of Auglaize County will become the primary center of caring, understanding, education, encouragement and hope to individuals of all ages who are experiencing untimely pregnancies. The Family Life Center of Auglaize County will endeavor to reach out to communities in West Central Ohio through its compassionate services and programs.

The Family Life Center opened its doors in October of 2008 at 201 West North St. We were there for 1 year and had a record shattering 8 clients. Using our old way of thinking we though that women, teens wanted an out of the way place to come get their pregnancy tests.

But times have changed in just the last few years. There is not the stigma on teen pregnancy. Girls are more open about their pregnancies. As a result we needed to relocate to find a place that would be more accessible and open to all.

In August 2008 we moved to 112 S. Front St. In the GO BUCKS Building. As a result of that move in the next year to October of 2008 we have increased our clients to over 80. That may not seem like a lot but we are happy that we are able to help young women in need. We have a working relationship with the Auglaize County Health Department and we are an agency that helps Ohio Jobs and Family Services when women come in for cash assistance. Pregnancy teens/women are sent to the FLC to do volunteer work or do independent study on various topics related to pregnancy/parenting.

We have recently moved to new location, 150 E. Spring, so that we can make room for our new ultrasound machine. We hope to be able to perform limited ultrasounds soon.
